What is D2 and D1 used for in pick up trucks?
Hey I have a $46000 Ford F150 Supercharged Harley Davidson edition.(Yes, I am showing off and only 19) My truck has 450HP and drives beautiful. Anyway, what is the D2 and D1(as in drive 2 and 1) used for? Thanks.

The D1/D2 are gearing in the transmission for towing heavy loads, a work mans truck.. Check in your owners manual it’ll tell you exactly what those are for and how to use them correctly.. Good Luck, guard that truck with your life..
